Create the original artwork record, link the physical work to its digital identity and remain connected to its ownership journey.

Once a work leaves the studio, certificates, ownership details and collector relationships often become fragmented. VeraTag keeps the record connected from the artist forward.
VeraTag creates a recognisable, detailed record around the artwork—bringing its identity, imagery, context and connected public passport into one place.

Record created by the artist
VeraTag gives artists a precise private workspace and a controlled public layer for the facts that should travel with an artwork.
Create the original record for each work—its identity, imagery, materials, dimensions, edition and story.

Registration issues a permanent VeraTag ID, with a public passport carrying the selected facts alongside the physical artwork.

One public passport destination connects the record to the prepared physical tag.
Invite a buyer to accept ownership and preserve the handover as a timestamped part of the artwork’s journey.

The permission model keeps the artist as the source of authority while authorised representatives and galleries provide support.
Access supports the artist’s record. It does not transfer the artist’s authority.
Follow the current ownership state and privacy-safe reach of registered work without exposing a collector’s private information.
Add the artwork’s identity, primary image and the facts that establish its original record.
Complete the required details to issue its permanent VeraTag ID and registration timestamp.
Assign a prepared QR/NFC VeraTag to connect the physical work to its digital record.
Send a private invitation so the collector can review and accept an ownership record.
VeraTag can show the privacy-safe reach of your practice through accepted ownership records—without revealing collector names, addresses or private collection values.
Collector locations are grouped. VeraTag never shows artists a collector’s address, postcode or exact location.
VeraTag is a narrow working product in controlled development. We make that boundary clear.
The artwork record originates with the artist. A gallery or representative can support the record only where the artist has explicitly authorised access.
The public passport shows core artwork identity and details selected for the record. Private collector information, addresses, collection values, documents and studio notes are not exposed.
No. Registration creates the digital artwork record and VeraTag ID. A prepared QR/NFC tag can be linked separately; full secure NFC verification remains in development.
VeraTag is a controlled private beta. Artists can request access and accounts are invited or approved for the initial pilot.
